See how work fits together
The product brings organizational structure, roles, skills and goals into a shared view. The aim is to make capabilities and alignment easier to understand across teams.

A clearer picture of people, skills, structure and organizational goals.

01 / Why it exists
People, skills, roles and goals often live in separate systems, leaving both leaders and employees without a shared picture of how work fits together. DefragWorks is in development to explore a structured organizational view built around that missing context.
02 / DefragWorks
Human-authored information, goals and acknowledgement provide a starting point for understanding relationships rather than reducing people to numbers. Assistive AI may describe patterns for people to inspect, question and interpret; it does not take responsibility for their meaning. The intended value is organizational clarity: a better-grounded conversation about capabilities, needs and shared direction. Current work is focused on validation, so proposed experiences remain development work rather than launched capabilities. DefragWorks is not an employee-ranking or performance-assessment system, and it does not make hiring, promotion, compensation or termination decisions. Leaders and employees retain judgment, with room to correct context and acknowledge what an organizational view cannot explain.
The product brings organizational structure, roles, skills and goals into a shared view. The aim is to make capabilities and alignment easier to understand across teams.
Human-authored notes and attributable acknowledgment help explain what the data alone cannot. Employees and leaders need context around skills, goals and changing responsibilities.
Assistive AI describes aggregate patterns and supports interpretation. It does not rank employees, evaluate performance, recommend restructuring or decide hiring, promotion, compensation or termination.
03 / The focus
Leaders and teams who need to understand organizational capability and alignment. The intended audiences include HR and operations leaders, transformation teams, organizational-design practitioners, public-sector organizations and universities.
04 / Where it stands
In development. The current focus is product validation: understanding the experience, intended users and responsible boundaries before broader adoption.
In development. No people scoring, hiring or layoff recommendations, or unverified certification claims. Human decision-makers remain responsible.
